Japan's NHK Television Station Will Promote Castor Potential in Sumbawa





Japan's NHK TV station, in cooperation with PT Bio Greenland will promote the castor potential of Sumbawa in Japan.       

Mr. Nobuyoshi Hara, a Japanese investor who accompanied by Mr.Azusa Miyazaki from TV Japan, in a meeting with the local government of Sumbawa, Wednesday (14/11) and at the Office of Sumbawa Regent, claimed to have synthetic oil companies (Kokura Gosei Synthetic) that require castor material from the raw oil.   

Mr. Nobuyoshi said, PT Bio Greenland is now being invested in Sumbawa has been unable to supply castor oil in the company as needed.        

According to Mr. Nobuyoshi, the company requires 10 thousand tones of castor oil per year.         
He hoped that the raw materials can be supplied from Sumbawa regency with PT Bio Greenland.

Therefore he hoped the government of Sumbawa District in order to help their companies by developing castor, because of the potential land for development within this area is very big, but not worked up, so the need for castor oil in the company are met.     

Besides teams from city of Kitakyushu will help the government and communities to develop castor in Sumbawa, of which promote the potential of castor Sumbawa in Japan through Japanese television stations, in addition they will also promise to support PT Bio Greenland by providing castor processing technologies  to be more maximum.
         
Meanwhile Sumbawa Regent, Drs.H.Jamaluddin Malik (JM) , who officially welcome the Japanese team expressed appreciation for the visit of the Japanese TV stations, as well as a visit from one of the Japanese investors. 

On that occasion, JM requested the relevant SKPD order to capture these opportunities by trying to develop castor in the community, so that this opportunity can be utilized to the maximum.

Against considerable farmland is expected to be maximized the use, in collaboration with farmers.

"With the availability of enough land is potential to increase the production of castor, especially the Japanese government has given full support to receive castor raw materials from Sumbawa," he explained.

JM hope through cooperation with governments and investors from Japan, the production of castor in Sumbawa can meet their needs.
